On March 3rd and 4th, Music Nation - a London 2012 Festival countdown event - takes place at over 50 venues around the UK. The project is devised and led by the BBC.

The programme will showcase the best of the UK's musical talent through ambitious and innovative partnerships and musical performances by orchestras and music groups the length and breadth of the country.

Thousands of musicians are expected to be involved in performances of all types of music - and there's bound to be a performance near you!
